I am very sorry to bother you, but, I tried to play this on Winlator, and it crashed after the loading screen. Can you give me a guess as to what might be the problem? This was right after it got to 100 percent.
Sadly I have no experience with Windows emulators - it'd be easier to release a standalone Android / iOS version than for me to debug issues that only occur during emulation, but we are no longer updating this version of the game. Story Mode would be natively compatible.
Hey i have saw the game's review and the gameplay on YouTube and really would love to play it but i can't afford a pc is there any future intention to make a mobile version :)?
As a matter of fact, the game's been developed with mobile controls in mind - with the release of the full game, we will probably opt to make a build for Android and iOS as well if we can figure those stores and the legalese surrounding them out!
Thanks for the suggestion! We originally did, but performance was an issue - we're not updating the demo any further so there's no point in rewriting this particular version to make it playable in the browser, but we could look into it for the release!

Hey! The curse can, by normal means, never be stopped or reduced, you can only slow its progression. There is research, "Last Resort", that will reset everything back to how it was at first once, at the cost of the curse spreading at a tremendously faster rate after.
I've occasionally posted full versions of sprites on the Community Discord, but they're buried beneath other things at this point... I might post some more in the future, as we're nearing Story Mode's release. (:
Made a certain situation from the last patch slightly easier to encounter for more casual players - however, it does remain easily missable and is a secret that has to be actively sought out.

This game looks interesting, I saw a video from ManlyBadass and I'm afraid to play it. Sure it looks scary but the problem is that I'm afraid of getting stressed from the inability of helping this patient. I do wish to see all the dialogues and what happens when they get fully cured.
Got to day 28 (evening) and I'm still hooked--I love the aura of this game and the gradual decay of Kein as he goes from "I'm sure you can figure it out, doc," to "This is all your fault." OOF that gave me chills. I'm so hype for this, please keep it up.

I saw this game recently, and not gonna lie, i was immediately captured by the patient - Kein. The game looks great! The sounds make the atmosphere of the game sooo creepy. I like the concept of it too. And of course (♡w♡) I'd love to have a good and different endings with kein! So i am definately gonna follow the tumblr and twitter accounts of the creator to get updated on the full version!! I love the game and i hope you make it even better~! Big fan of this ☆♡ I'm gonna play this over and over hahaha until the full version comes out xD And i do wanna know more about Kein! His past and all that.
Love this game, love the concept and execution of the idea, and I just can't get enough of Kein,who is very cute <3 he's ideal for his role in the game cus who wouldn't want to help him :^) Definitely gonna wait for updates!! I saw ManlyBadassHero's play through of the game, and I have to say, the story here is really intriguing. I almost wish this wasn't a new game so there was a fandom I could float around in. Though time-based games are difficult for me, I think I'll have to make an exception for this one. I really love the art for this game, and I gotta say, I love Kein as well. As many a YouTube comment has said, he's super pretty. I hope we find out more about him through story mode, and hopefully there's a happy ending where we can break his curse. (Also, I'm seriously wondering what's behind the boarded up doorway... the hands are ominous.)

As a huge fan of both horror and time management games, I instantly felt drawn to this game. I adore the overall aesthetic and the art presented in the game. (very neat style!) The atmosphere, too; it's very oppressive and the very subtle use of music adds to the sense of foreboding. The patient, surprisingly, (or maybe not) was the one thing keeping me on edge the entire time. Even if he was simply sleeping, sitting or even just looking in my direction, I couldn't help the dread it invoked in me whenever I checked up on him.
There's a few glitches here and there (like text overlapping/spazzing out during events, or the curse bar not moving past a certain point tho this could be an actual feature and not a glitch) but overall it was a very fun experience! I'm most definitely keeping an eye out for the full release and what mysteries the Story Mode entails! :)

As far as I know, the curse never actually gets stuck, it's the number that doesn't update properly (the bar updates as normal) - it was never meant to be shown in the first place, only for testing it during development, which we ended up barely having any time for ;;
This was super fun, even for a coward like me who's usually hot and cold on horror :) Can't wait to see this finished, and well done on getting it done for the game jam!!
Hello guys!It seems i have played this game and the furthest i got is 21 days... and as i played more, i saw almost every single thing and what should it do:for example, supplies:they are used to maintain the player and the patient, as well as supplying the firewood; herbs help mainly on prolonging the player's and the patient's lives; the bar at the top right represents how much time until the curse overwhelms the patient and kills you, the clocks are just for the player and represent the time you have until a part of the respective day(morning, afternoon, evening or night i suppose)elapsed, and it can be used for everything, including upgrades and... literally scaring the hell out of the crows, which role has been yet unidentified...perhaps they speed up the curse in a way or another...yare yare daze...the pentagrams' role is unknown, but you get them from exploring; also you grow the herbs, and there is a cooldown oof a few days until more is grown;and also a little something in one of my playthroughs is: the timer was stuck, i wanted to treat them, but after that, he killed me(well excuse me wtf mister i was just going to give you some medicine and now you tryin to kill me bruh that's something that i should take a note for:medicine doesn't always work, or this is a potential bug/glitch bruh), anyway, this game is very fun and i can't wait for the upcoming updates

So I am immensely intrigued and I'm excited to play it, but the issue is that there seems to be an AWFUL LOT going on simultaneously, and I have little to no idea what does what. What is the purpose of firewood? What does the pentagram mean? What's up with the crows? There's a lot of mechanics I don't entirely understand and a tiny tutorial[or a read-me with instructions] would be lovely.

I do wish we had more time to properly introduce all the mechanics and implement some proper feedback for everything but we were cutting it pretty close to begin with. There will be an update addressing all of the mentioned issues pretty soon, in a week or two!
When I read tryptophobia I thought "oh no" but who am I to chicken out on a horror game that looks that promising? Judging just from the screenshots I was already somewhat impressed this was actually put together in just 14 days. So I went in and faced my fear! In my first try on endless mode I survived till the 8th day and I must say I really love the gameplay and aesthetic. I haven't figured everything out yet but it's still fun to experiment. I love the tension there is through the whole game and that it feels like I need to always be on guard and check all screens. I'll go back into this and play this for a while for sure! Maybe I'll figure out a good strategy to survive longer. Rated: 5/5!

wow, this is a really promising game O.O, the style and atmosphere is really, hm... heavy/depressing(in a good way) and dark.

Thanks, i also figured out that, although you need 3 herbs to treat the patient, you need 1 extra herb to make it work(idk why)
